Our Employees
Siminski & Associates, P.S. supports its staff by respecting the goals, aspirations, and contributions of each person. Larry has been a CPA for 30 years with a substantial practice focused on building wealth for the firm’s clients. Creating wealth, preserving the client’s wealth with creative estate planning and assisting the family in administration of the estate gives Larry the experience to guide new clients along a proven path.
Larry’s undergraduate degree is in Industrial Technology, followed by a graduate degree in Business Administration. He received recognition as a Quality Assurance Engineer while working in the construction of a nuclear power plant. Larry has been instrumental in the successful start of several personal business projects; therefore, empathizes with the genuine risk and rewards facing the entrepreneur clients we serve. He has excelled in accounting because he sees accounting as a measuring tool to enhance business performance. He sees tax savings as a component of wealth strategy and not a goal in itself. Larry is the founding shareholder of Siminski & Associates, P.S.. P.S.
Larry is a member of the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is past president of the Estate Planning Council of Southwest Washington and past director for Washington State Society of Certified Public Accounts.

Gary has a B.A. in Business Administration (Accounting Major) from Central Washington University, 1977 and a M.B.A. in Taxation from Golden Gate University, 1984. He has over 25 years experience in financial statement preparation, tax and management consulting services for closely held businesses and not-for-profit organizations. Additionally, he has been a business/accounting faculty member and has taught at North Seattle Community College, South Puget Sound Community College, and Bellevue Community College. He is a shareholder and co-owner of Siminski & Associates, P.S.
Gary has been a licensed CPA in the State of Washington since 1979. Memberships include the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Gary cares about the financial success of the clients he serves. He lives in Olympia with his wife and their dog Kona.

Dawn Williams, Staff Accountant

Dawn has seven years of public accounting and bookkeeping experience for small and medium-sized businesses as well as eight years of accounting experience with private companies. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting in December 2007. She is also one of our two Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisors. Dawn specializes in assisting businesses set up account systems and training software users in programs such as QuickBooks.
Dawn works with client records that range from highly organized accounting data to hand written check registers. She enjoys taking the time to get to know the client and their needs.

Karen Sanders, Staff Accountant

Karen studied accounting at the Oregon Institute of Technology, and has recently become a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She is also currently studying to become an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service.
She has over 18 years of public accounting with 7 years at a large regional firm and the balance with small local firms. Her expertise is in accounting and taxation, including individuals, small businesses, non-profit organizations, and estate & trusts.
Developing strong relationships and providing quality personal service is essential to her daily practice.

Judy has worked as an administrative assistant or office manager for the past 15 years. She began working for Siminski & Associates, P.S. in 2004. Her primary responsibilities are completing all of the firm administrative duties, including payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable. She also processes all tax returns. Most client contacts begin with Judy. She takes great pride in establishing and maintaining good client relationships.
In Judy’s spare time, she likes taking classes either to advance her knowledge of the accounting world or for personal growth. She loves to do arts and crafts, sew, spend time with her two daughters and cat Snickers.
